ART OF RECLAIMING FOCUS

In collaboration with Cult Vision, artist June Mineyama-Smithson invites you to pause, be present, and reclaim a moment for yourself through an interplay of colour and form.

A collection of her abstract paintings exploring the power of intention will be launched at Cult Vision for Clerkenwell Design Week 2025. The original four acrylic paintings are available for purchase, and a limited-edition collection of lens cloths will be complimentary with all eyewear purchases from Cult Vision.

A remarkably friendly shop! Nina fixed my glasses (an antique gold Matsuda pair I bought from them), gave me public speaking tips (I mentioned what I do for work) and made me smile, all in ten minutes. If you buy glasses in London I couldn’t recommend a better pace :)

Level of professionalism of the owner is unparalleled, on top he is very knowledgeable and provides a great consultation. They are also flexible and changed my glasses when I realized they didn't really fit me, at no extra cost! Bear in mind they incurred the cost of the lenses without asking me to pay extra. Honestly great service and high quality specs I highly recommend.

I had an eye test and bought 2 pairs of glasses from Cult Vision at the beginning of the year and the service I received was super. They were very helpful in helping me choose the frames and lenses for what I needed, and very friendly too. The glasses I have are still holding up very well and they have a fantastic selection of styles and brands to choose from!

They have a great selection of different options, and the customer service is unbeatable. I bought new glasses and had trouble getting them to fit quite right, so after multiple unsuccessful attempts at adjusting them the owner suggested that I should just pick a different pair to replace them for no extra charge. I would highly recommend anyone to go here.

The most thoughtful and thorough optician experience I have had so far. The time they took to help me choose a new frame was very appreciated. I felt as if I was getting honest opinions and advice as to which frames were best for me, and I ended up with a pair that I enjoy immensely. Panos took a moment to check my old prescription and run some vision tests and noticed that it should be tweaked to balance out my vision, and that change made all the difference in my new lenses. No more visual drag or dizziness! Thank you :). I also want to note that I live in New York and it was not a problem at all to have my new specs (with excellent high-quality ZEISS lenses) shipped to me. An all-around A+ experience. Many thanks!

Best customer service I've ever had! 🥰 My old Vasuma glasses broke and the stockist I'd bought them from three years ago had closed down. I emailed Vasuma to ask if they could do anything to repair them, and they sent me brand new frames for free! They'd originally cost me £400 for frames + lenses, so a free replacement was incredible. Vasuma sent them to Cult Vision and Panos fitted my old lenses into them for free. Really lovely guy and a very cool shop that I'll defo go back to. Can't recommend enough!

Very highly recommend cult vison. Panos played a huge part in saving my vision. Panos sent me to morefields eye hospital which started off a journey of finding a brain tumour that was damaging my optic nerve. Thankfully for panos sending me to moreflields and the surgeons for removing the tumour very quickly, my vision was saved. The man is a legend and i cant thank panos enough.

This is not your standard eye test! Panos provided a detailed, personalised assessment of my eyesight and suggested options that I would not have considered, nor would have been offered, in a regular chain. Excellent service and lovely frames for a very good price.

Popped in to get a replacement nose pad for my Tom Ford's. Fixed it in 2 seconds and gave me two more for free! I even insisted on paying for the second pair but he wasn't having it. Great service.

I walked past this beautiful shop front a few times on my way to work and I am glad curiosity led me to pop in and have a chat. After trying on a few frames I was immediately convinced to book an eye test and take it from there.Panos and the team provided exceptional customer service (I had to rebook the appointment a few times) and the eye test was very thorough and helped me understand different health risks I may face due my family history. I bought two frames and have been really happy with them.I would say that overall it's incredible value for money, some may be put off by the price tags of the frames but they are of outstanding quality (especially compared to only slightly cheaper frames you get from other "designer" and "high street chain" opticians).As one of the other reviews mentioned, I can't imagine I'd go anywhere else for my eye test from now on!

Really great independent opticians who know what they are doing with vintage frames. If you have a loved pair you need reglazing, they will go the extra mile to ensure you get what you need while still being very competitively priced. Their frame selection is also great - every time I go in there's something eye catching! Very friendly and polite staff and a nice shop environment too. Highly recommended.

I moved out of London two years ago but still travel in to get my eyes tested here. Panos is exceptionally thorough and has picked up on issues missed by other opticians I've visited.He fully explains every aspect of the test and his findings, with passion!Always makes you feel at home. Prices are very reasonable and the there is a broad range to choose from. Can't recommend enough, as I won't go anywhere else.

I’ve been going to Cult Vision since it was called For Eyes (good name change).The team are friendly and Panos very knowledgable. The selection of frames is contemporary, but not off the wall and value for money is excellent.Plus the atmosphere at the shop is welcoming with interesting design displays and an enjoyable soundtrack.

I can't recommend this shop enough. Not only Cult Vision has the most beautiful selection of frames from non-mainstream designers such as Andy Wolf, Ørgreen, Paname etc. as well as a carefully selected arrays of original vintage frames but their professionalism and customer service are second to none.I popped in today seeking help with a loose frame that I had purchased last summer and they immediately offered to replace it with a brand new frame so I would not have to stay weeks without glasses while it was sent to the manufacturer.What a great example of outstanding customer service!Please visit this shop and support independent businesses, especially during this uncertain times, they need you more than ever.

Such a great opticians. I find it really hard to find glasses that suit me but their range of frames is great - I bought a vintage pair from the 1950's! All the staff are friendly and provide a great service. Have already recommended to others.

The staff here are very kind and helpful! I stopped in on my lunch break in the hopes they would help loosen my glasses that were giving me a headache because of how tight they were. They were more than happy to help adjust them even though I hadn't bought them in store. Life saver!! Nothing more uncomfortable than ill fitting glasses.

I was looking for an optician to re-glaze my frame with ZEISS lenses. I went to Boots, but the price was 200+. After doing a bit research, I went to Cult. Staff was extremely helpful and kind, optician was great friendly. They were VERY patient. Best of all, the price of a new pair of ZEISS lenses was affordable. Dropped my frame to them on a Thursday. and it was shipped to the ZEISS lab on Friday. I received my frame with ZEISS lenses on the next Tuesday. Highly recommend this independent optician to everybody, enjoyed my visit.

This morning I found that the arm on my glasses had finally fallen off and I managed to find the screwI was desperate to get to work and I passed Cult Vision and I popped in and said I know I didn’t.t buythese from yourselves but the arm had fallen off and I was blind with out them and I have to say a loveyoung lady had a look at them and said that the pins were all bent and it wasn’t a straight put the screwback in so could I leave them with her for about an hour and she would have a look.I have to say within the hour she called me and said they were ready to collect. I turned up and was readyto pay but she wouldn’t hear of it.Could I just leave them review and I have to say best services and absolutely polite professional pluscleaned them for me I am so impressed.I would definitely recommend them and when my glasses are ready for renewal I will pop in and see whatthey can do for me.Ted Gough

Probably the best eye test ive ever had. Very nice man. Talks you threw the whole test breaking down every little detail so you understand your prescription 100% . Cant see myself going anywhere else in the future

Excellent, truly world-class optometry. When I arrived in London, Panos identified and fixed my problem in less than twenty minutes, from a -4.75 in my right eye and -4 in my left--something prescribed to me by an optometrist in San Francisco--to a more simple and balanced vision plan. He prescribed me and allowed me to try a variety of excellent contact lenses, one brand of which I still order through Cult Vision today to my current location in Chicago. Georgina and the staff are most diligent and helpful, too. They have consistently repaired my frames for no charge and are always seeking ways--especially given their wide base of connections throughout Europe--to fix anything from buffalo horn to steel. More importantly, the frames they offer in store are truly unique, catering especially to people, like me, whose glasses are an extension of their personality.

Panos is an excellent Optometrist, he did a very thorough eye test for me. This included many additional tests to other opticians such as visual field. I went there for a second opinion because my vision with new lenses from a different optician was blurry. They did a thorough test and came to a different result. The new lenses are perfect and my vision is great!

Really the best optometrist I have ever been to. Service 5* and he changed my prescription which boots had kept the same for 4 years. He figured out they had incorrectly tried to fix my astigmatism in both eyes. after he corrected it my eyesight has 20/20 ( and I have a strong prescription). So professional and easy to deal with these guys.

I got to know about the Cross Eyes brand through a stall at a design exhibition in the old meat market area. My optician was Panos who was excellent and gave me a thorough examination. There was no hard sell and the whole customer experience was excellent. Every two years I treat myself to new eye wear and I will certainly use Cross Eyes in 2017.
